Make up help!!! Good quality makeup brands, get 10 points!!?

What sort of makeup essentials do you think i need and what brands ( i am 13 blue eyes, blonde hair, and normal to oily skin with a few break outs.) Any tips as well or websites please? What other tools are essential?Make up help!!! Good quality makeup brands, get 10 points!!?
Sephora has some of the best quality brands available, Www.Sephora.com . If you have a local Sephora near you, go in and get a complimentary consultation with a color expert. They will educate and apply makeup to you based on what your needs are.

A few staple products I would recommend are 1.%26gt; a great oil free foundation, preferably with an spf. (Cargo, makeup for ever, sephora brand)

2.%26gt; an oil free powder for daily touch ups and to keep you shine free (sephora brand compact, or cargo brand)

3.%26gt; a bronzer (you can also use as an eyeshadow!) (Benefit's 10 is awesome! Blush+Hilight in one!)

4.%26gt; good mascara (I like too faced mascara) 5.%26gt; nice lipgloss (soooo many fun ones to choose from! The dior glosses are hot!)

6.%26gt; Brushes (Foundation brush, eyeshadow brush %26amp;, powder brush. The right tools make all the difference!)

7.%26gt; good skincare (your makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath!)

I hope this helps!Make up help!!! Good quality makeup brands, get 10 points!!?
Bare minerals. you'll break out less because it's pure, and it'll cover your break outs at the same time. i love it because it's natural and it looks natural. they have a starter kit and it'll pretty much contain everthing that you'll need. They have this brand at Ulta, Sephora and occasionally Macy's.
ALAMAY! It's a little expensive, but it is the best make-up out there! I have trouble with my skin and it's the only make-up that doesn't make me break out. I know that blondes with fair skin are more sensative to that kind of thing, it is also hypo-allergenic. They also have a line out there that gives you the make up to use that brings out your eye color. They have a regular line and one called Play It Up for those nights you want to be a little more dramatic! Hope this helps!
umm clinique is good for everything from powders to eyeshadows....powder makes you not so oily.. blue eyes pop with brown shadows... i think eye liner is beautiful as long as you dont cake it on there.. and dont forget.. if you put on make up wash it off at the end of the night so you dont break out...
omg you tottaly need makeup forever foundation and pressed powder..that stuff is awesome.. ive never loved any makeup the way i love this stuff, i will never buy anything else.

MAC!!! If you go to one of their stores, they'll help you out.
honey only use foundation to cover the problem areas, and for the oily skin use a powder that will soak up the oils. websites might help you but your best bet is to go into a sephora or ulta store and tell them what your problems are and they will help you pick things out, try em out on you and even show you how to apply them.
your features sound like mine.

it sounds like your essential products would be

Makeup and hair help please?

I'm going to a 60's and 70's party tonight so can someone give me some ideas of makeup and hair styles that are quick and easy as I've got less than 2 hours to get ready!!!Makeup and hair help please?
The 60's and 70's were different times.

Go to http://www.fiftiesweb.com/fashion/make-u鈥?/a> for 60's makeup.

Go to http://www.freebeautytips.org/70smakeup.鈥?/a> for 70's makeup.

Good luck!Makeup and hair help please?
Im planning a 1930's wedding and had a hard time finding info until i looked under ';1930's stars';. Try searching 1960's stars - you may find some good pics to go off of
blow dry your hair straight. tease your hair at the crown to give you some height and wear a head band or tie a scarf like a handband. (this is a 60s look btw)

use light frosty eyeshadow .. white, pink, blue and lots of black eyeliner; lifting the line up at the corners (like cat eyes). lots of mascara to finish off the eyes. lips should be very simple and frosty if possible.

have fun!
no
Try blue eyeshadow on the face and big lashes and for the hair...try the internet for a hairstyle. Jackie Kennedy had her hair style much liked for the day of the late 60s and 70's.with the hat, with the Good luck and have fun.
Thank god I'm here to help you!

Rinse your hair with cold water!

Hot water opens the hair cuticle which makes it frizzy!

The cold water seals your hair cuticle and leaves your hair less frizzy!

(everday you rinse it with hot water it is opening the cuticle in your hair more and more which causes frizziness and poof)
go to 60's and 70's on the internet and look at the styles sorry if i didn't help good luck
Best thing with clothes is COLOR! no dull colors you want to be bright!

If you can try to get GO-GO boots lol.(high platform boots like these. http://www.belindacostumes.co.uk/images/鈥?/a>

Try some Tye die and bell bottoms. Disco and hippie type clothes.

For hair be a flower child if you can crimp it and add a flower barrett in yout hair or like a flower band.
you'r hair in a high pont tail and wrap A SMALL SHEER SCARF IN IT

WEAR A PUFFY DRESS SKIRT

AND A TIGHT FITTING SHIRT

TRY AND STAY WITH THE PINK AND WHITE COLOERS

HAVE FUN...
Late 60's early 70's deffinently part your hair in the middle and wear it strait. If you are looking for a hippy look then twist a scarf and tie it around your head, middle part of your forehead. Longer scarf would be good to let the scarf kind of flow at the back.

Make up for a ';hip'; look is little to none. Cher look would be heavy on the eye liner and lots of shadow on the lid in blue. Tons and tons of mascara. Clothes to wear, either holy jeans with a sheer top or long dress that is feminine, cotton, natural. Seed beads around neck but puka shells will suffice. Good luck and have fun!
Ok.Just make your hair kinda puffy but not really and dress in a long skirt and a button shirt.hope this helps
if your hair is long wear a wide head band if it short wear in a bob makeup was pale in 60s in 70s hair n makeup was wild n
Red matte lip stick, blue eye shawdow for your make-up. Flat iron your hair maybe flip out the ends and part it down the center with height at the crown area.
Really white eyeshadow medium/thick line of liquid eyeliner on top thin line on bottom.White eyeliner pencil for underneath the black on the lower rim.Curl your eyelashes, fake eyelashes, mascara.Foundation, pressed powder, blusher, red lipstick with different coloured lipliner.
Chunky high heels, bell bottoms, straight hair ';think hippie';. Goodwill definately has somthing.

I need help on how do you use makeup! Im a newbie.?

Im 12 yr old . I wanna look good for guys but I cant wear eyeshadow. Need some tips. I dont want heavy makeup.I need help on how do you use makeup! Im a newbie.?
go simple. mascara, eye liner(roll up kind) and lip gloss ........believe me im 12 too we dont need anymore makeup then thatI need help on how do you use makeup! Im a newbie.?
yes you want to make it natural for yr age
start out with only a little bit
if u really think you need make up, start out with just a little colored lip gloss and a touch of mascara ....nothing is worse than too much on a young person, so take it slow...guys like you for who you are, not what you are wearing.
you are 12 years old....you dont need make up, skin that young is naturaly beautiful....'nough said.
You can wear makeup and it look natural. Use natural colors like ivory ar beige and soft pinks. Some places like Merell Norman will actually give you a makeover for free and show you how and when to apply different types of makeup.
go basic. a little lipgloss will make your lips stand out without making you look trashy if you go with a clear or one close to your natural lip shade (don't get metallic lipglosses, ew). also, mascara is the single best makeup tool. if you have light hair or complexion, go with a brown mascara, or black with darker hair. it'll draw attention to your eyes but without making it overt. good luck, and i'm sure you're beautiful without makeup.
some girls dont even need make up it depends on what you look like i dont know you to tell you
Don't wear any. You'll look like a little kid trying to ';be like mommy';. Trust me.
you wanna look pretty but not trashy so try some lip gloss (flavored ones are fun) and some mascara that's not too dark. Also pinch your cheeks and then dab a tiny bit of Vaseline on the apples to make you look fresh and Dewey. Lastly boys love girls who are confident and fun and don't worry too much about themselves ,so have fun!

I need help with my makeup?

I am ten years old, i have a bunch of eye shadow and glitter, i have gray eyeshadow and use it to look like eye liner, i have white, baby blue, purpledark pink nude light ping sky blue brown gray a grayish white and for glitter i have blue gold and turqoise, any ideas how i can make it look more like eye li8ner, or mascara, anywere wher i can get cheap mascara and makeup.I need help with my makeup?
If you want it to look more like eyeliner try getting an eyeliner brush (you can get one from the drugstore for like, $2-4) and apply the eyeshadow along your eyelashes like you would with an eye liner. If you're trying to make it look like mascara, that's a bit more tricky. The eyeshadow would have to be a little wet, but be careful because not all eyeshadows work well wet (some of them can be ruined if you wet them). Just get it a teeny bit wet, rub a mascara wand in it and apply it like you normally would. I should warn you though, it may not turn out super bright like it does in the eyeshadow.

And if you're looking for inexpensive makeup, try www.eyeslipsface.com, it's ELF's website. All of their makeup is $1 and you can find the store closest to you that sells it. Good luck!I need help with my makeup?
since ur at a young age, starting to use makeup now would not be the best idea...i know that its fun to play around with makeup and glitter and stuff and that is perfectly fine but when it comes to putting makeup on in public, all you really need is a neutral eyeshadow, maybe a highlight color, and lip glosss but other than that ur young, embrace ur natural beauty! :) in a few years u can start using makeup but dont start using a ton at 10 years old when u really don't need too! :D

hope i helped!
honestly if u wear makeup now

your gonna look like a slutty tramp

im not saying u are

but u can wear natural makeup it u want to so bad

wear:

-pink eyeshadow (light)

-lip gloss or Vaseline....im 14 and i use that

-some Vaseline on your cheecks for a natural blush rosy glow type of look

-and some black solid eyeliner only on your bottom lash line
Just use a little bit to make it more natural.

Too much make up isn't pretty.

A LOT of mascara looks good on anyone, especially me. I'm 13 years old.

Just don't wear too much glitter because generally, that's what un-classy women do.
you're young! you already have a naturally beautiful glowing face! trust me you don't need makeup!
you probably don't want to hear this, but you're ten years old. you really shouldn't be wearing makeup right now.
I'm sorry but you're ten, you don't need make up. Embrace your inner beauty and relish your young skin while it lasts :)
huh? you shouldnt even being wering make up. Wait at least until you turn 14
cheap, good make up = priceline!!!
ur too young for makeup
  • thinning hair
  • Can someone help me with makeup?

I have dark brown hair and green eyes, I was looking at MAC's mineralized eye shadow in 'odd couple'. I was wondering if that would look good on me? It's like a purple and a gold/purple mix..Can someone help me with makeup?
yes purples will bring out the green in your eyes. also if you wore any green shadow darker than your eye color, it'll really make ur eyes popCan someone help me with makeup?
I have odd couple and I have grey eyes and dark brown hair and it looks great.

Just apply the purple over the eyelid and the gold/orange in the crease!

    its an average one

    Need help with makeup?

I want to start using makeup...can you please help on the best one....I would like a light makeup...where can I go to find just the right shade??Need help with makeup?
Well, it all depends on your skin tone and face structure. I'm judging from your avatar since I don't have a pic and this makeup routine is for all skin types.... The advice below is for an everyday makeup routine.

First, make sure you've already put on some moisturizer or face lotion. (It should have SPF, by the way.) Put on some light pink or beige eyeshadow on your upper lid. I think the best makeup brand for eyeshadow is Nars (click on the link to see selection):

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

When you go there, you'll see a huge picture of a gold and pink eyeshadow duo. You can buy that, or just go to the drugstore and look for those colors when buying eyeshadow.

Next comes eyeliner. You should get either brown or black (brown if your skin is pale or olive/tan, and black if your skin is dark). Put it on your upper lid JUST above your lash line, and smudge it into your eyeshadow a bit with your finger (but not too much). Then put it on only about halfway on your bottom lid, which should have no eyeshadow on it, and blend it to soften the look. The best eyeliners are found at MAC Cosmetics (their online store is at http://www.maccosmetics.com) and they're under $20. For eyeliners, I don't recommend the drugstore kind because they smudge way too much.

The next step is optional: curl your top eyelashes and put on a coat of mascara. I have to say from experience that brown eyeliner and black mascara looks weird together, so if you have brown eyeliner, put on clear mascara. Maybelline's Clear Great Lash is great (click on this link for a picture: http://www.ulta.com/control/product/~pro鈥?/a> ) and only about $5. You can get it at your local drugstore. If you have black eyeliner on, feel free to put on black mascara. I use Too Faced Lash Injection (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a> ). It's about $20 but it works pretty well.

Lastly, put on some Chapstick or clear lip gloss and you're ready to go. That's a pretty simple routine to follow and will take about 5 minutes to do in the mornings before you go to school or work. Remember, the best places to buy makeup is at places like MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, or at makeup counters at department stores like Nordstrom or Macy's. If you're looking for cheap makeup, go to places like drugstores (e.g. CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens) or to stores like Target or Walmart. Don't EVER get makeup at 99-cent stores no matter how good the packaging or how cheap it is because that's the kind of makeup that'll ruin your skin! Good luck with your makeup ... hope all turns out well.Need help with makeup?
less is more. use natural colours such as brown eye shadows look great on any one also mach your makeup to your skin tone. i love true mach
send a picture of yourself. It depends what color your eyes are, and how your face is.
As u are only jus starting opt 4 a tinted mosturiser ..with maybe sum blusher...Most place have them ...take sum1 with you and try a bit on the jaw line and c wah is closest or slightly dark than ur skin tone ...you dnt want 2 be orange or pasty
try sheer pink colours lipstick and waterproof mascara especially if you cry a lot
I'm assuming you mean foundation? If so then I would go to any department store and get your color matched, then find something cheaper in the drugstores because there's really no difference in quality but a huge difference in price. My favorites are Almay's liquid foundations for a sheer look and CoverGirl Aquasmooth foundation for more coverage.
you wanna use eye shadow, go with brown/beige colors, very neutral. Or if you wanna spice it up, go with gold or bronze. Use brown eyeliner (if you want), and brown mascara. Browns are key! And if you aren't pale, then at night you can be daring and use black.

I suggest MAC eye shadows, and their eyeliner (fluid line). and I like covergirl's lash exact mascara. maybe some bronzing powder too

Not to dark but lite that will compliment the color of your eyes. think of colors that combine with blue, white , pink and lite browns. Warm colors... don't go too dark ....( its too tacky)

think blue will look good and put a little pink above that to bring it out and then again you can use the color that you are going to wear to match your makeup that looks good also no matter what color your eyes are.

you should soo pick lke green, or blue, but teal will look afb on u . but always try something else, you can even make the eyeshadow thin , or wide, but if you have white skin i would prefer, getting those eyeshadow brush, those really thin ones. u can just pick the best color like teal ,and gently put it on.

if you make it wide, it will give more attention, but if you put thin, you can give a not-so-wild look , but a POP kin dof look, i would soo prefer, for you to put brown mascara, and brown eyeliner.when you, put EYE MAKEUP on you should not only do your eyes put youe lips ,i would put a lipstick on first that is like maybe, redish ,and pinkish, and add gloss to it, or find lipgloss that has the color.you should always have a balanced way of putting makeup, u soooo don't want makeup that is caked on.

    Pink, Gold, Green, Blue, Silver.

Try brown, purple, and deep blue, not light blue. And ';smokey'; eyes works for everyone(I think!). Use brown pencil or liquid eyeliner, black will be too harsh for blue green eyes. Use black mascara, don't use brown.

Maybe a greenish outfit would look all beautiful and pretty!!!

Brownish make up with a little blush would make you shine!!! Like pink would also make you look sweet.

i think pastel colors for you. pale green/blue with a nuetral base first would be best if you want color( that means put a little lighter/darker than skin tone on lid first then put color on bottom part of lid) or nuetrals are always great (dark brown/bronze on lighter brown/bronze. and remember to put eyeliner on below eyeshadow and under lashes on the bottom(not on the bottom lid like most ppl thats causes infections) keep a wet q tip handy to repair mistakes.hope this helps.

    wear some brown eyeliner

with bronze brown eyeshadow..i read that in a makeup book..it brings out the blue in your eyes

i have blue-ish eyes, and i do that.

ppl have really complemented my eyes..

that should match for your outfits

    thats exactly what i do

    try it!

    good luck!

oh yea, have your hair in a ponytail..it enhances the face shape and eyes.

Wear silver shiny eye shadow and a bergundy colored lipgloss you'll look fatastic!! Put your hair in a ponytail or wear it parted in the middle!!

i think u should curl the ends. this looks really cute with layered hair, i do it and i love the way it looks. i bet it would look even better on a blonde, but i do it just cuz i love the look. it takes me a little while to do, but its so worth it. green eyes look really pretty with long lashes and eyeliner at the edges of your eyes. it will really make them pop. experiment with different blushes and see what u like best. good luck!!

ok so heres how to do it

if your in a good happy mood wear your hair so its bouncy or curly( that will match bright colors and skirts and shorts)

for deep purples, blues, or red wear you hair sleak and straight... it will be preatty and sexy

if you are wearing something lacey or loose... wear curls or waves

if you are wearing something tight or dark .... wear you hair straight

I suggest using a light pink color eyeshadow from your lash line to your brow bone and then a darker pink from your lash line to your crease. Finally, use a really dark pink in your crease. Then use a black mascara and brown eyeliner. To compliment your eyes, use a tinted lip gloss and a warm peach blush. Also try pulling your hair back away from your face in a ponytail, side ponytail, or messy bun to bring more attention toward it.

The description of yourself sound like a girls I work with and she wears lavender cream eye shadow just up to the brow bone and I think she swipes just a little under her lower lid and it looks so pretty. I have gone out with her to clubs and on those nnights I think she wore a little gold or light brown in the crease of her eyelid to compliment the blue in her eyes. She never wears eyeliner but does wear mascara

Go to Macy's and then go to the MAC counter and ask for a makeover, if you have enough money. They specialize in makeup and they went to makeup school and have alot of clients everyday. So they would know what colors look great on you, and how to bring out your eyes. They also ask you questions about like what you like to wear (makeup) and what look you want to achieve, ect. Its really worth it, there makeup is great.

I have bright blue eyes, pale skin and blonde hair as well.

I wear a medium brown eye shadow. It makes blue and green eyes really stand out.

I use Maybeline very black mascara - and 2 coats only on the top lashes.

Use black eyeline on the inside of your bottom eyelids - or a very thin line underneath if you can't wear it on the inside. Don;t wear mascara on your botton eyelashes - it will make your eye make up look really heavy!

To make your eyes look bigger, use a white eyeliner on your bottom eyelids.

Blondes need to be careful about using eyeliner on the top eyelids - it can make us look slutty if you have pale skin. So I use just a little on the outside edges, and go past the eye for a cats eye look. Brown eyeliner for a neutral day look, or very black for a sizzling night look.

Make sure your lips look pale - just a neutral brown or pink gloss will make your eye makeup look less heavy.

Keep looking at magazines for some makeup ideas on other blondes.

    Hope this helps you!
Put it on in the dark......then no one would care! :)
Why? Mineral makeup is REALLY good. It can be very expensive, though. bareminerals is good.
