Do not use the expired makeup. While you're waiting for your new makeup, mix a few drops of moisturizer with your face powder. Or just use your face powder over a layer of moisturizer. If you need to cover blemishes and discolorations, use a concealer (foundation is not made for this purpose anyway).
I would just go natural for a few days. Throw away the old stuff.
Some people would but I would not, I have problems with eye infections and there are times that the foundation gets near they eyes. Why not give your skin a break and use nothing for a couple of days?
You can use it, but it may make you break out. Instead wear some lip gloss and big giant sunglasses like the celebrities do and no one will even notice.
Then don't buy new foundation go natural and for a few days, I mean it's only a few days what harm will it do? If not use powder if you have some.
If it's only a year old it should still be fine. Two years however may be too old and your risk getting your skin irritated, getting breakouts etc.
