Can anyone help with a more 'scene' makeup look without making it super overboard?

every time i try to do my eyeshadow, or makeup it never looks right. ive been trying to do more of a 'scene' look but it just looks like im trying too hard. any suggestions?Can anyone help with a more 'scene' makeup look without making it super overboard?

i think that you should use a couple coordinating colors (2-3) of eyeshadow, like gold, green and blue or black and purple.


Steps:


use a neutral color to cover the whole eyelid, up the the eyebrow.


then put your first color on one third of your eyelid, to the crease.


then make another ';stripe'; of color on the rest of your eyelid to the crease (put as many colors as you want).


smudge them together, so that they blend into each other.


line your eyes (some do just bottom, but do top to if you want)


mascara and your good to go.





or just wear like a black eyeshadow.

buy an eyeliner brush at a drugstore, wet it and create a line only at top
use mascara , no eyeliner, instead of eyeliner, use black shadow, do 2 coats of the mascara

YES! I in fact used to be scene..lol


Just wear eye liner and BRIGHT shocking colors that match your outfit, if you have black hair blue looks great, with blonde hair red looks awsome.

eye make up pops the most and makes your eyes look sssoooo pretty even if they are an ugly brown color. I would say using a nice foundation or bronzer and going for the more natural colors. not to fancy and deff. not to bright. I would probably want eye liner and mascara and a light eye shadow not to bright or dark. and maybe you should try a lip liner. hope i helped! remember to make the style something you would do.
