If you're performing in front of lights, you tend to get washed away. If you apply tons of make-up, it'll show up better. And don't be worry about putting too much on. When you're under the light, it'll look normal. (Trust me, I've worried about that before)
If you're not doing it under lights, still put a lot on. Do it in the middle of normal make-up and over done make-up. This will ensure that people see your face clearly.
Use colors that correspond to your costume and that highlight your eye color.
I hope I helped! Good luck!HELP!!!!! dance recital makeup tips?
okay i am a competition dancer and this is like out make up:
we do like a skin color base
then we put a dark brown color on the crease of the eye...were the ball almost stops at the top....then we blend that with another color of a pink
after that we put liquid eyeliner on the top and then mascara ( we use face eyelashes...it makes your eyes pop more)
then we have this burgnady red color lipstick with a gloss over it
hope this helps!!!HELP!!!!! dance recital makeup tips?

ask a student in your class for help
no dont do the heavy on the make up ........ok so depending on your costume color bring out the color on your eyes with a little eye shadow and foundation that has like pearl dust in it or glitter to give ur face more of a natural look and go light on the eye liner just enough to bring the shape of ur eyes out and of course to top it off some lip gloss.....good luck
make it pretty dont over do it tho
maybe...
brown/gray eyeliner(lightly applied)
some foundation
gold/lavender/light blue eyeshadow
pink lipstick
blush
YOULL LOOK ADORABLE!
go gettem girl!
You should have on stage make up- you don't match to your outfit.
