I need some help with makeup?

Ive got my mum coming into my salon at college and shes 42.





what type of foundation will be best for combination skin type??


what colours do you think i should use on her eyes as im doing an evening look, she has deep set eyes.


and shall i do lipstick or gloss??

dont use gloss, it makes slightler older people look as if they are trying to be young! if you are doing it to match an outfit do the eyeshadow a simular colour to the dress, if not do a bronzey gold colour mixed for the smokey eyes effect! I'm not really sure about the foundation! maybe a lightish tinted mouisterize for her skin because this makes everyone looks natrual!!


i recommened a liquid blusher as this sits well and gives you a natrual rosey flush!!

With the foundation it depends, whether she's fair skin,n olive tanned. use a bronzer on her cheek bones after applying the foundation, but don't use a sparkly bronzer, get a matte one. with the eyes, if you want her eyes to look bigger add more eyeliner on the top lashes, and use a brown eye shadow, as brown suits all colours. do a bit of the smokey eye effect which you can learn how to do on youtube.


to make her lips look fuller, use a lighter shade of lipstick, and add a tiny bit of gloss. then all you need is the eyelash curler and a bit of mascara :)

try something like beige or brown for her eyeshadow. Use very light foundation and for her lips maybe very light pink mixed with peach. You can also try something like beige.
