I'm 16 years old and I'm gonna start wearing make up.
How do I apply it, what should I buy, what brands are good and all those things. If theres any sites that will give me good suggestions then that would be grrreat.
I know, I'm beautiful without any make up, but I want to wear it to look nice.Help with makeup?
芦Foundation禄
when putting on foundation you must make it the closest to your natural colouring or you will end up to brown/orange %26amp; completely a mess.
You can either use your fingers or a sponge to apply it is completely up to you.
You start doing your forehead, nose, rest of your face %26amp; last your eyelids. important fact that a lot of people forget to do.
Also when your putting your foundation on DO NOT forget your neck, there is nothing worse than seeing a tide mark.
When putting in on gently blend from your neck upwards towards your face, not forgetting to get close to your ears.
芦Powder禄
A loose powder is better %26amp; a translucent one is the best. put this on the puff that usually comes with. You do not needs loads of this just pat a little on this helps any shine %26amp; to hold your make up better.
芦Blusher禄
Depending on your colouring really but you do need something that looks natural with your own colouring. A wide brush is the best for this after dabbing it on then give a quick blow to get rid of any excess. This should go from the starter line on your cheek that is online with your nose going up towards the ear. Do not make this a straight line it must be blended.
芦Eyeliner禄
Put this on before any eyeshadow or mascara.
If using a liquid one thats fine just make sure you have a steady hand broader @ the back thinner @ the front If using a pencil apply the same as the liquid only this time use a cotton bud to blend it a little.
芦Eyeshadow禄
Again depends on your colouring %26amp; the colours you like. Try to keep it on the bottom lid not all the way up to the eyebrow that just looks tacky.
芦Mascara禄
To stop getting those panda eyes %26amp; for a more flattering look use mascara only on the top lashes, use about 2 coats but only when one coat is dry do not try to put all on @ once or it will clump them together, you can also dye your lashes for that all together more professional look as well as using your mascara which gives you the impression or fuller longer lashes
MOLTON BROWN PURIFYING MARINE MASK use once a week.
DIOR BLACK OUT BACKSTAGE MASCARA
any normal high street make up will do as long as you put it on rightHelp with makeup?
Revlon, L'Oreal, Covergirl %26amp; Rimmel are good brands. Make sure you look for face products that are oil-free, as not to make your face breakout. Pay attention to foundations %26amp; powders that match your skin tone well. Use an eyelash curler before you use mascara to make your lashes even longer.
Hey! Thats amazing to know that you've stayed makeup free till now! I started at 12 :-\ even though I'm very pretty :P
Anyway, I wear eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss (occasionally) and usually brozer/foundation.
To get eyeliners and mascaras, you don't need to go search in the expensive aisles of Sephora. Although they're stuff is amazing, you can get much better deal at a drugstore for pretty much the same product. I wear black eyeliner, and its NYC Cosmetics line, from the drugstore. They have plenty of other colors that can accentuate you eye color.
Blue eyes - Brown liner makes your eyes POP!
Green eyes - Burgundy
Hazel - (Mine) I use black, and it makes the gold/yellow tone REALLY come out, my friends always say, ';Wow, you're eyes look gold!!';
Brown - Purple, Beige or brown
Also, to make your eyes look amazing, and make guys craveeeee you (:P) try using the Almay Bring Out Collection. These really bring out the colors of your eyes.
Once your good with that, maybe try using Almay Play Up Collection for a little fun in your eyes :]
Now, as for mascara, a GREAT waterproff one is Great Last Waterproof, I use the color ';Very Black';. Just today, I wore this to the beach, was itching my eyes, going under water, and its still perfectly in place! You can get this at the drugstores like CVS, Harmon's, Excerd.
A great mascara (although it may be a bit above a person's budget) is Sephora Lengthening Mascara. I love it!
For your cheeks and face, my favorite foundation is CARGO Wet/Dry Powder. This can be found at Sephora.
FOr a cute rosy cheek, I likeSephora Cheek Stain in Nude/Naturel.
Finally, a great bronzer is Sephora compact powder in Bronze and a great brus for that can be found a CVS or Harmon, because you don't need to spend your money on one at Sephora. Oh, reminder about Sephora. Although they are one of the more expensive of the make-up stores, they're own personal SEPHORA line is a lot less expensive then the other famous brands they hold, and I like they;re brand a lot more!
If you do have problems with annoying zits, an amazing coverup is Physicians Formula Magic Cube. Start off with the GREEN concelear to get rid of redness. Then cover over with the neautral colored one. I use LIGHT, but I don't know the darkness of your skin, so I can't recommend anything, sorry :[ You'll figure it out :]
Ok, just one last thing I wanna share with you!! Hard Candy has this amazing product that has eyeshadow and lipgloss in one. Its the Hard Candy Jewel Box Eye %26amp; Lip Palette. I got this at Sephora. It can fit easily in any purse, and has 7 lipgloss colors, and 8 great eye shadows!
Well, that was definitly a lot!! I hope I really helped, and I'd love to hear if this has worked! :]
Oh, and all this makeup-- you don't want it staying on your face! An excellent makeup REMOVER is Almay Makeup Remover Towelettes. They come in a white box with a purple label, found at drugstores.
For more make-up help, Seventeen Magazine is always great with new makeup ideas!
Hope I helped! Good luck!!
go to a store like sephora or a makeup store an dhten have htem put i ton you and show you how to
okay well u should apply mascara!! black- volume exact!!
and u should wear a little blush so ur cheaks can look a natural pink!!
that really makes a different!! and a little eye liner but not too much!! if ur eye lashes aren't cu=rles natural then definataly get a lash curler!!!
i love Rimmel: The London Look. Its soo cool...
But it looks really dark and heavy... Awesome punk look...
But if you are just starting out...go get Cover Girl...
Its light and simple...
or go to Saphora...i love that place..
but make-up is really expensive there
try to stay away from cover up and foundation if you dont have acne. put some mascara and some gloss. if going to an event try eyeliner. just play around with make up until you get the look you want. use a good skincare line and always wash ur makeup off at night and dont forget to change ur pillowcase at night to avoid breakouts and pimples. and use sunscreen all the time!!!
It's best to start with just a few minimum things. Some face powder or toner a little bit of lip gloss and mascara.
Remember less is more.
Practice with application when you know you aren't going anywhere.
Bare Essentuals work well, but it's expensive. If you don't have a high budget, or you don't want to spend a lot of money on makeup, try PureMinerals or Bee Lucious Cosmetics. :-D If you want to use foundation, don't apply it using your hands (it can make it oily and it won't go on as smooth). For your lips, try liquid lip liner and lip gloss, or lip liner and lipstick. You can use liquid lip liner or not, it doesn't matter. For eyes, use neutral colors. You can also use Mascara and Eyeliner if you wanna look really nice. :-D Hope this helps! Good luck!
Check out this site, it has make up designed for teens, it has guides on how to apply it, why it is a good makeup and you can get samples for $2 to see if it is worth it for you.
go to a local drug store, start there. Get colors you like in eyeshadows and lipgloss. Just starting out, work with those two. As you get older you may want to add foundation, consealer, etc.
try Sorme Cosmetics all natural, mineral based, professional, good prices.
Definitely go to Sephora, they have the best makeup. If you can go to a Sephora store, they will show you how to put on all sorts of makeup.
