I need help with makeup?

I'm 16 %26amp; I really don't know anything about makeup. Sometimes I use brown eyeliner but that's it. This year at school I want to actually start wearing more than that. Problem is I don't know what would look good.

I'm pretty pale with dark brown hair %26amp; bright green eyes. My complexion isn't perfect though so if you could recommend something to even it out that would be great. So any tips for what colors or products to use???I need help with makeup?
I don't know how much you are willing to spend, but I use Matte Velvet by MakeUp Forever.

And its is perfect for covering up all your blemishes and dark spots.

Its really heavy coverage, and seriously makes your face look like velvet.

Its great.

But this is pretty expensive, about $40.

Everything else I use from the drugstore.

For my eyeliner I use Loreals HIP pots.

They are gel liners that you just use on your upper lashes and really make you eyelashes look fuller, and it stays on all day.

For my waterline I use Maybelines Define-A-Line eyeliner; Ive tried a lot of eyeliners, but that works best for me.

The mascara I use is new by Maybelinne, and its called PULSE.

Its a vibrating mascara that does a really good job! My lashes look a lot longer and fuller.

You should use any eyeshadow that has green, brown, gold, plum, or light peaches.

Those are the colors that are going to define your green eyes.

:)

And makeup is hard when you first start using it.

I suggest going to youtube, and looking at some tutorials.

Just type in something like, ';Makeup routine.';

And that should bring up some helpful videos.

Have fun!

Just remember not to cake everything on, try to be natural with your application.

If you have un-balanced skin/skin discoloration; which means your whole face isn't one color I suggest you use 'tinted moisturizer'. The tinted moisturizer will manage to even out your skin color; and help hide those few blemishes; it comes with a wide range of colors.

For foundation; read which one is best for you.

Liquid foundations are good for all skin types. They usually offer sheer coverage and have the most natural look. Most women prefer a liquid foundation because it is easy to apply and fits like a ';second skin';. They are available in water-based and oil-based formulas. You need to get a foundation that perfectly matches your complexion, generally this means selecting one that is yellow-based.

Cream provide very good coverage. Foundations of this consistency can provide a creamy flawless finish and are easy to apply. However because they are heavier they may emphasis thin lines around the eyes.

Powder/Mineral Foundation - A Sheer/Light Coverage.

For a natural look you should use browns, neutral colors.

- brown eyeliner/mascara, golds, etc for eyeshadow .

For a more bold look you should use;

- black eyeliner/mascara, and colorful eyeshadows.
You could qo to like a farmer's store and qo to the Revlon counter and ask advice there because they will show you directly what'll suit you and what to use and shet . Go for bronze colours , neutral earthy tones also purple or taupe around the eyes will be perfect for green eyes !! Good Luck !
green or purple eyeshadows/liners make green eyes look really good. and the brown eyeliner is a lot better looking than pure black so thats fine. i'd suggest just going into sephora or some other make up store and having them do your make up and recommending things just to give you ideas.

good luck and hope i helped(:
The only store-bought make-up I'll use is Physician's Formula, since it's all natural and doesn't contain harmful **** like maybelline %26amp; other mainstream make up brands.. I use their Tinted Moisturizer, but it doesn't offer complete coverage, as it's just intended to slightly even your skin tone out . Bare Minerals is a mineral-based make up brand that doesn't have nasty chemicals in it either..... as for application goes, go on Youtube dot com and search how to apply different make-ups.. ''smoky eye makeup tutorial'' stuff like that, or if in certain videos like Paramore you dug her make-up, you can Youtube ''paramore crush crush make-up'; and it'll pull up a tutorial how to apply your makeup like hers..... Good luck ; )
You can wear-face powder or foundation,pink blush,pink/brown/blue eyeshadow,Mascara,black eyeliner,lipgloss

You can use this brandss--Jill stuart/mac/shiseido/HR and other brandssssssssssssssssssssss!
I'd go to Ulta and get your makeup done there, it's cheaper there than a department store and you can talk to them about what looks good and what's best for your skin complexion.
im a guy, but being a guy i dont like when girls wear makeup, unless its eyeliner but im one of the goth sorta guys. you dont have to hide what you really look like
