Hi, i'm really deperate for help with makeup?

when it comes to makeup, i have no idea what i am doing. i feel really pathetic when i have to have someone else do my makeup for homecoming and things when i am sixteen years old. if someone could recommend what makeup i should use and tips, i would really appreciate it.

I looked at your picture and you have a pretty face so don't over do your make-up! I would suggest some true match powder foundation (go to k-mart or some place with a skin type chart) and a mild blush (put it over your check bone if you want to look younger put it on the front of your face, and if you want to look older pull it back to you temples.) I mean really mild...not bight pink. Wear some eye shadow too. i don't know the color of your eyes but basic rules would be:


green eyes: purples or greens


blue eyes: blues/pastels


brown eyes: neutrals like brown or pink


Use some eyeliner probably brown for you and brown mascara. I like cover girl for eye make-up.Hi, i'm really deperate for help with makeup?
try going to a MAC or Clinique make-up counter at ur mall and have them do ur make-up, i kno u said u didn't like it when people do ur make-up but they give really great tips and they are free!

you seem to have pretty good skin, but i cant really tell from the tiny picture!





Follow these steps:


Foundation- buy the one slightly darker than your skin color tone. It'll make you look tanner, but not like uneven, but also not pale.





Blush- buy a sheer pink blush. Very light colored, but not the lightest one you find. maybe like the 3rd lightest one. apply it lightly across your cheekbones and then put a big smile on and then apply lightly on the cheek (the part that sticks out when you smile)





Eyes: put some eyeshadows! When you go buy your shadows, buy them at the drug stores. Theyre cheap and pretty good quality. Buy the one that has like triple colors. I recommend you to wear like a purplish or a brownish color.


Then use eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes! (duh!) Apply brown or black mascara. About 3-4 coats will do.





Lips: use a peachy colored lip gloss.
My Favorite thing to do is mineral foundation. - its very easy!-

ok, everything from eyeshadows to eyeliner you want to apply in small strokes and very lightly. Try neutral tones like bronze/gold or silvery colors... i'd stay away from anything bright or too dark in general unless its a very special occasion. Make up in purpose is to enhance ur natural beauty, not turn it into a clown. (or at least don't put color on more than one feature at a time. ex: add vibrant color to ur eye's OR your lips but never both!) Don't use foundation! I am telling you now, don't use foundation!! It's for old ppl who need to cover up wrinkles!!! It shouldn't be used on anyone younger that 30! just dab a tiny bit of blush on ur cheek bones and blend it in with ur fingertips. Scrub ur face daily with facial cleanser so it'll look more clean and pretty....my fav makeup line is M.A.C. but Covergirl is good too...
